What a lot has happened in life. Since my last posting I have had twins, got 2 new jobs, and had my life radically change.
It's interesting to watch your life die.
I started by losing my job. I had been at Qwest for 8 years. I knew everything. All the policy's all the shortcuts all the people to call to get stuff done. I was downsized.
My church life fell apart. I was a director and Sunday operations manager. That has since all ended. Church started to change in about June 2009. Something happened. I still can't quite put my finger on it, but we stopped seeing eye to eye. This probably should have been my clue it was time to step down and walk away, but I didn't. This dragged on until September. Then I was told that my time was up, and I was being replaced. Since then church has gone in a completely different direction and we are not involved anymore.
I have been hoping to be reborn into whatever is next.
I started driving school bus about a month after I was let go from Qwest. I am still doing that. It's really good money and a Candy Land job. I was promoted to a fill-in. It's a little harder than having your own route, but the pay is a little better. I currently only work 2 days a week there.
I started at Charter. I have had a lot to learn and different things to get used to, but it has been good.
We had our twins. They are great. I love them so much and they are so much fun. They can be a handful, but they are really cute and very loving.
This new life has had it's challenges, but the future looks bright. I pray that the Lord will continue to guide us in our road ahead.
